Impossible! the family survived and found each other during the worst tsunami in history
The raging forces of nature, sweeping away everything in their path, sometimes give in to the courage of a person, his endurance, thirst for life.
An example of this is the Spanish doctor and lawyer Maria Belon, who went through incredible trials that hit her shoulders while on vacation with her family in Thailand, in the small town of Khao Lak.
Maria Belon’s family will travel in 2004 to this blessed place for the Christmas holidays. Dense tropical forests, beautiful beaches stretching for many kilometers along the coast of the Indian Ocean
— all this was pleasing to the eye and promised a truly heavenly pleasure. This day was ordinary, the sun was shining brightly, three sons were splashing merrily in the pool, with whom Enrique Alvarez’s husband was next to.
Maria was lying on a sun lounger in a great mood, anticipating that the rest of the rest in this resort town would be just as pleasant and serene. At first, she heard a noise, reminiscent of the roar of an engine.
And when she raised her head, she saw a picture that filled her with mortal horror. A huge wave, resembling a solid wall, rushed at them with furious force.

She managed to cling to a tree and suddenly heard the voice of Simon’s youngest son. She rushed to help him, but the current was so strong that it was impossible to break through to the child.
The second wave of the tsunami covered her head and carried her into the mainland. And then Maria noticed the eldest son Lucas floating among the wreckage.
Gathering her will into a fist, she managed to get to the child in order to pull him out to a tiny corner of the earth that had miraculously survived from the water.
She somehow did not pay attention at first to a deep wound on her right leg. The blood flowed strongly and to stop it, she made a tourniquet of palm leaves.
