The interior of the old plane that this inventive man turned into a pleasant residence is truly stunning
Bruce Campbell, an American engineer from Oregon, had his former aeroplane turned into a comfortable, large residence. The strange and fascinating «structure» can be located in the woods of Hillsborough, not far from Portland.
His aim to have a functional residence appears to have taken him around ten years to finish. It is a 40-meter-long, 4-meter-wide former Olympic Airlines 727. The $100,000 spent on the man’s plane was spent on an unusual hobby.
He even changed the floor of the building, turning it into a cold, clear, flat surface. Bruce «chased» his aim in order to complete a long-desired project. He has all he needs to live comfortably and creatively in his large home.
He also utilises his incredible creation as a workspace where many new ideas are developed. It’s fascinating that he was able to build a nice shower cabin, toilet, kitchen, and bedroom there.
The innovative man devised the appropriate method for creating such a warm and comfortable environment for himself. He decided to paint the entire plane blue, and he enjoys meticulously cleaning up his unique room once a week.
Bruce also registered his beautiful home, which he purchased from the US Federal Aviation Administration.
