When the driver notices a 5 yearold girl holding a toy light, she claims she’s going «to the store» late at night
Marc Breckenridge and his fiancee were returning home after visiting a casino in Washington state.
He abruptly slammed on his brakes as it got dark and late at night.
A chocolate Labrador retriever stood in the middle of the street.
Marc slowed down and turned the car around just in time to see a 5-year-old blond girl and her friend attempting to chase after the dog. Paislee, a 5-year-old girl, was carrying a lamp.
When cars sped by and almost hit them, Marc jumped out of his car and snatched the ladies from the road.
He then seated them. That’s how close the girls were to peril.
The late-night driver questioned the ladies on a variety of topics, including what they were doing outside alone and where they were going, and was surprised by their responses.
Paislee’s tiny hand held a light-up baseball bat, which she explained was there «to guide her the way as they were about to go on their adventure.» Paislee informed Marc that they were going shopping for toys.
But, he wondered, where were your parents?
Only now did the incredible story of Paislee and her friend sneaking out of their house begin.
Her parents were also about to get the shock of their lives.
