A distraught woman who was about to send her twins with Down syndrome for adoption received the best gift of all by opting out
Unintentionally, the 45-year-old mother realised she was expecting Down syndrome twins.
Julie McConnel, who already had four children, was unprepared for such news.

She was completely disappointed. She was worried that she and her boyfriend wouldn’t be able to care for the children properly.
She even contemplated putting them up for adoption.

The Nampa lady, on the other hand, was able to regain her composure and deviate from her original goal.
She was fortunate to be bestowed with two wonderful children, Charlie and Milo, who made her the happiest mother on the planet.
They were both a source of joy and happiness for her, as well as a source of inspiration for her.

McConnel was so overjoyed that she decided to inspire people to accept their chromosomal disorder and live their life.
She began to share more images and anecdotes about her twins. She set a wonderful example for other mothers by demonstrating that raising a child with the disease does not have to be frightening.
The woman tells how the parents intended to place their babies for adoption until they discovered they were unwell.

Fortunately, she decided to keep the twins when they were only six months old.
She describes their initial meeting as a miracle!
«My heart ran out of my chest sawing them for the first time,» she says.
