A little girl is forced to become a nurse for her paralyzed father
For more than two years, little Jia from China has been caring for her paralyzed father. In March 2016, her dad Tian had an accident. The taxi in which he was riding at high speed flew into a ditch. Since then, the man’s body has been paralyzed from the chest down.

Gia’s mother, with whom Tian had been married for 7 years, left the family 2.5 months after the accident. At the same time, the woman took with her her eldest son, brother Gia.
“She told me that day that she was leaving for a few days to stay with her mother. But she never returned, taking our son with her,” says Tian.
So little Gia was left alone with her paralyzed father. At that time, the girl was only 4 years old.

Since then, Gina wakes up every day at 6 in the morning to give her father a massage — for half an hour she kneads his stiff muscles. After that, he brushes his dad’s teeth, washes him, and only then hurries to school.
When the other children, after returning from school, are lying on the sofa watching TV, little Gia immediately hurries to the kitchen to prepare dinner for her father. And after feeding dad, he helps him move around the house.
While the girl is at school, her elderly parents look after her father.

“I don’t feel tired at all taking care of my dad,” says Gia. The girl’s father proudly says: his daughter shaves him best.
“At first I didn’t know how and cut my dad’s face,” recalls Gian. — Blood flowed, but dad said that he was not in pain. Now I shave very well. Even my grandmother says that it turns out very cleanly.”
When Jiwoo is asked if she misses her mother, the girl replies: “No, because she did not want to look after her father. But I miss my brother. We were very close to him.»
