In an Instagram post on Friday, January 17, Zooey disclosed that the catastrophic Palisades Fire destroyed her and Emily’s childhood home in the Pacific Palisades, California.

The New Girl star, who turned 45 on Friday, January 17, wrote a moving ode to the «marvel» of her house, which was «one of the oldest homes in the Palisades» and a 1920s Spanish restoration. The «spectacularly beautiful» house was «full of too many things,» the actress said.
