In an attempt to escape the paparazzi, Britney Spears announced on her 43rd birthday, December 2, that she was relocating to Mexico, stating, «They’ve always been incredibly cruel to me.»
In the United States, Britney Spears sensed that something was up.
On her 43rd birthday, the singer of «Baby One More Time» disclosed that she had decided to go to Mexico in order to avoid the paparazzi.
In an Instagram video posted on December 2, Britney said, «It really kind of hurts my feelings that the paparazzi make my face look like I’m wearing, like a white Jason mask.» I don’t even resemble it.
Although she is aware that she is «not perfect at all by any means,» the «Stronger» singer went on to say that the paparazzi have «always been incredibly cruel to» her and that she feels their treatment of her has been «extremely mean and cruel.»
She went on to say, «And that’s why I’ve moved to Mexico.» In pictures acquired by TMZ, Britney, who is married to ex-husband Kevin Federline and has two kids, Sean, 19, and Jayden, 18, was seen arriving in Cabo San Lucas on December 2.
