After making a heartbreaking plea for their 7 yearold son, Cheryl attends her ex-boyfriend Liam Payne’s funeral.
On November 20, one month after his untimely death, the One Direction singer was buried in England.

Cheryl and her Girls Aloud bandmates attended the memorial ceremony for her ex-boyfriend Liam Payne on Wednesday, Nov. 20.
The singer was spotted leaving the One Direction star’s burial in England with his parents, Karen and Geoff Payne, in tow. The singer and Payne welcomed a son, Bear, in 2017.

The singer was buried alongside her Girls Aloud bandmates Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts, who were spotted embracing Payne’s former bandmate Harry Styles. Along with friends like James Corden and Payne’s fiancée Kate Cassidy, there were also Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson there.
After falling from his hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Payne, 31, passed away on October 16. Cheryl posted a picture of him and their 7-year-old son to Instagram two days later, requesting that followers respect their family’s privacy.

«As I try to navigate this earth shattering event, and work through my own grief at this indescribably painful time, I’d like to kindly remind everyone that we have lost a human being,» she said. In addition to being a well-known music star, Liam was also our 7-year-old son’s father, brother, uncle, and close friend. A son who must now confront the fact that he will never again see his father.
