After splitting up for a year, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner finally get divorced
After four years of marriage, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, who have two daughters, Willa, age three, and Delphine, age two, have finalized their divorce agreement one year later.
Officially, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have put an end to their romance. One year after calling it quits, the Game of Thrones alum and member of Jonas Brothers have struck a settlement in their divorce,
according to court documents obtained by TMZ on September 10. Furthermore, the site reports that the judge has already approved of their agreement, even if the specifics of the finalization have been designated as confidential. Representatives for Joe and Sophie were contacted by E! News for comments, but they did not respond.
The settlement between the couple took a long time to come to fruition. After all, after four years of marriage, Joe filed for divorce from Sophie in September 2023,
claiming in court documents that E! News was able to access at the time that «the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.»
Soon after, Sophie—who is married to the «Sucker» singer and has daughters Willa, 3, and Delphine, 2—filed a lawsuit against him, claiming that he was denying their American and British citizens’
children the opportunity to return to «their habitual residence of England» by removing their passports. She also stated in the papers that E! News was able to obtain that she learned about his filing «through the media.»
