Alanis Morissette shares a wonderful photo with daughter Onyx onstage Singing ironically together
Alanis Morissette has a new singing companion.
On Monday, the «You Oughta Know» singer uploaded a touching Instagram snap of herself and her daughter, Onyx Solace Morissette-Treadway, performing Morissette’s popular song, «Ironic.»
The tweet also commemorated her daughter’s seventh birthday.
«Birthday angel girl moment,» Morissette said in the post’s caption. «Singing ironic together.»»I love you so much onyx you are my dream daughter,» she told me.
Onyx is pictured in a pink top and cheetah-print trousers, holding a microphone and staring up at her mother. Morissette appears in the photo wearing a blue button-down shirt and leather pants, smiling at her daughter and carrying a microphone.
Morissette re-posted a video of the performance filmed by someone in the audience, in which Morrissette is beaming as her daughter takes the lead on the song’s first verse and continues to sing the chorus.
Morissette has a daughter, Onyx, with her husband, Mario «Souleye» Treadway. They also have two sons: Ever Imre Morissette-Treadway, 13, and Winter Mercy Morissette-Treadway, 4.
