Anthony Hopkins is sending love to his friend Ian McKellen.
Over the weekend, the «Silence of the Lambs» actor, 86, shared a video on Instagram of himself and the «Lord of the Rings» actor, 85, demonstrating their ballroom dancing talents.
The actors in the undated footage are dressed identically. McKellen makes an adorable attempt to spin Hopkins at one point, and the two have a laugh and hug as the video ends.
«Today I salute my beloved friend, Ian, and his indestructible spirit. «I love this man,» Hopkins said in the caption.
Hopkins’ remark comes roughly a week after McKellen fell onstage while performing in «Players Kings» on London’s West End. Following the fall, McKellen stated that his recuperation will be «complete and speedy.»
