Gwyneth Paltrow and former Chris Martin’s eldest kid visited Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris with her family on November 30. And Apple’s mother couldn’t contain her excitement.
«My beautiful daughter,» Gwyneth said on Instagram Stories, alongside photos of the 20-year-old in a sky blue, strapless, ruffled gown, «in @maisonvalentino.»
In addition to the Oscar winner, Apple was joined at the ceremony by her father and 18-year-old brother Moses Martin. Vogue said that all four wore Valentino designs.
Apple completed the set with a pair of identical blue strappy sandals from the design company. Since 1994, the annual invitation-only debutante gala has introduced approximately 20 women aged 16 to 22 from around 12 nationalities into society.
According to its website, Le Bal des Débutantes is about «empowering young women and young men as well as national harmony.» This year’s debutantes include Lucia Ponti,
18—actress Sasha Alexander and Edoardo Ponti’s daughter, who is also Sophia Loren’s granddaughter—and Nicole Ari Parker and husband Boris Kodjoe’s daughter, Sophie Tei Naaki Lee Kodjoe, 19, according to Hello!.
