As he begins his new residency in Vegas, Keith Urban says he wants his fans to have the best freaking night of your life
On Friday, October 4, Urban kicked off his 10-date «HIGH in Vegas» residency at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas.
For Keith Urban, it’s the third time.
The 56-year-old county legend began his third and most recent Las Vegas residency performance, «HIGH In Vegas,» at the Fontainebleau on Friday, October 4. Coincidentally, Friday’s high temperature in Vegas was over 100 degrees during the day, but the stage was hotter.
Urban joyfully announced to the 3,800 fans gathered inside the BleauLive Theater, «We’re back.»
The singer ripped through oldies like «Days Go By» and «Blue Ain’t Your Color» over the course of an intense two-hour performance, incorporating new songs like «Messed Up As Me,» «Wildside,»
and «Chuck Taylors.»
He joked, «We’re going to get to a few of the requests we have for this [new] record tonight, and if there’s anything else you want to hear, I’m sure I’ll hear about it.»
As he frequently does while performing live, Urban showcased his diverse range by incorporating short passages from songs by George Strait, Ed Sheeran, and Miley Cyrus into his own successes. For the first of Urban’s ten performances in the three-story auditorium, fans seldom sat down.
