A source tells PEOPLE, «It hasn’t been the easiest summer for him either.» This summer, Ben Affleck is working a lot because there are still a lot of speculations circulating about his marriage to Jennifer Lopez.
According to a source who spoke with PEOPLE in May, Affleck, 51, is still residing in the Brentwood, California rental house that he previously rented out when he and Lopez, 55, were reportedly living apart.
Affleck has not yet moved into the Los Angeles house that he recently bought. «Ben is progressing nicely. The source claims that «he has been working nonstop and thrives when he is busy.» «The children are still not in class. He also spends a great deal of time with them.»
Even though Affleck and Lopez presented a united front at his daughter Violet’s high school graduation the same month, their marriage has been under intense public scrutiny since May.
After Lopez canceled her tour and subsequently spent the majority of the previous two months on vacation in Europe and the Hamptons, New York, the pair, who were married in 2022, have been apart for the majority of the summer.
Lopez recently made a trip back to Los Angeles and started looking for a new place to live after listing the Beverly Hills estate they jointly bought in May 2023.
