Ashlee Simpson looked stunning as ever while vacationing in Hawaii with her family. In a new Instagram photo posted on April 3, the «L.O.V.E.» singer, 38, wore a blue plaid print cutout swimsսit and baggy jeans while chasing her two younger children through the grass.
Palm trees swayed in the background of the black and white photograph, and a large body of water could be seen as Ashlee’s hair blew around her face. She appeared to be chasing after her swimsսit-clad daughter Jagger, 7, while Ziggy Blu, 2, trailed behind with a pool noodle.
In another photo, she posed like a model, and in a third, her husband, actor Evan Ross, joined in the fun with the family.
«Rainy day in Hawaii,» the singer captioned the photo, which also included tropical flower and heart emojis. Ashlee also has a 14-year-old son with ex Pete Wentz, Bronx Mowgli.
Many of the star’s 1.1 million Instagram followers reacted in the comments section. «Always my style inspiration!!!» wrote one fan, alongside a heart eyes emoji, while another said, «You look better than ever.»
«Have fun, you guys.» «Live your blessings,» said a third. «The cutest family,» said another. Many people took advantage of the opportunity to request more music from the singer. Bittersweet World was her most recent release.
There could be a good reason for this — in May of 2016, she opened up about motherhood and how it changes things. «Having two kids in the house is an exciting time,» she told TODAY at the time.
«However, your life priorities shift. Your priority becomes your children, and every woman who becomes a mother understands this. Everything is changing for the better. Life is wonderful with the kids.»
She considers herself fortunate in terms of her household with her husband. «I’m fortunate,» she told the outlet. «When it comes to chores, my husband and I are pretty evenly matched. We don’t, however, have set roles.
