At the SNL 50th anniversary special, Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost spend a date night together
‘Saturday Night Live’ was the venue where the couple first met in 2006.
On the SNL50: The Anniversary Special, Colin Jost and Scarlett Johansson had a romantic evening together.
On February 16, the couple was one of the celebrities in New York City to commemorate the landmark sketch comedy show’s 50th anniversary. For the momentous event, the Black Widow actress and the SNL star both wore black. While his wife donned a black gown with an upper bodice adorned with jewels, Jost chose to wear a traditional tuxedo.
Jost worked on several aspects of the performance for the big night, and Johansson played the Maharelle Sisters alongside Kim Kardashian, Kristen Wiig, and Ana Gasteyer.
Since the two met on the set of Saturday Night Live in 2006, this night was very memorable for them. Jost was in his first year of employment in the writer’s room at the time, while Johansson was presenting the sketch comedy show for the first time (she would go on to join the «Five-Timers Club»).
They stayed friends, but it wasn’t until the movie star’s special guest appearance on Saturday Night Live’s season finale in March 2017 that they became romantically involved. Jost refused to comment on the romance allegations at the time, even though Page Six said that the two were spotted kissing at the afterparty.
The comedian revealed their romance later that year, the same month the Marvel actress finalized her divorce from her ex-husband Romain Dauriac.
