The couple welcomed their daughter Méi and son Malcolm, both of whom are two years old, in September.

Olivia Munn had no idea that she and John Mulaney would become parents.
When Munn found out she was expecting their first child, a 2-year-old boy named Malcolm, the actress, 44, told GQ for their story on her comedian husband that they weren’t dating yet.
Munn says, «It wasn’t even close to ‘dating.'» «I barely knew him.»

Munn recalls that Mulaney was anxious for them to have the baby as soon as she found out she was pregnant, even though they weren’t dating.
She tells the source that she expected they would co-parent because Mulaney was in New York City and she stayed in Los Angeles for the majority of the pregnancy. «It wasn’t necessarily, ‘We’re going to be married and live together,’ or anything like that, but it was ‘I’ll be involved in some way,'» she adds.

Munn claims that despite Mulaney’s recent sobriety, his recovery from a drug addiction, and his fear of relapsing, he never expressed any concerns regarding their child.
«That was the one thing that gave him a cheerful, airy appearance. She recalls how thrilled he was to inform his parents.
