Beautiful Song, Beautiful YOU is Demi Moore’s response to her daughter Scout Willis’ new song
Willis, the daughter of Bruce Willis and Moore Willis, came out with «Take Me» on October 3.
Demi Moore is encouraging her daughter to pursue her musical career!
The artwork for Scout Willis’ most recent single, «Take Me,» was uploaded on Saturday, October 5, by the proud mother and Substance star, along with a heartfelt Instagram post honoring her daughter.
By @scoutlaruewillis, «TAKE ME.» Lovely tune. Moore, 61, wrote, «Beautiful YOU,» as the image’s description. «So proud of you my love!»
The 33-year-old Willis seemed to value the remark, replying, «Thank you mama 🥹🫠.»
This is the second song Willis has released this year under the moniker Scout LaRue Willis, after «Over and Over.»
Willis’ self-titled first album was her most recent release, which came out in June 2022.
She first «had this idea that I shouldn’t and couldn’t pursue music full-time,» Willis told PEOPLE when her debut album was announced. However, she later came to the realization that music was «just a very clever way to hide from the deep, unconscious fear I had around sharing myself and my art with the world.»
«Looking back through the lens of this album and my own personal growth work, I’m in love with every experience that inspired these songs, every moment of challenge, heartbreak and victory, because each of them conspired to get me to this exact moment and I’ve never been more in love with myself and my life than I am right now,» she said.
