Bride finds out on her wedding day that her mother-in-law is still brеastfeeding her son
According to a wedding makeup artist, one of her brides almost canceled her wedding after discovering her groom being breastfed by his mother.
In the most recent episode of the Unfiltered Bride podcast, host Georgie Mitchell, a professional UK wedding planner, explained how she heard the story from someone she had previously worked with.
Georgie described the makeup artist as ‘Jenny,’ and how she had just finished the bride’s face and hair when she said she needed to use the restroom.
‘[The bride] walked into the toilet, and what she saw was enough to end a wedding,’ George said.
Georgie’s co-host Beth, who owns the company Etiquette Events Styling, initially assumed that the groom was cheating on his bride with another woman.
After being told to try again, Beth inquired whether he had been using drugs in the days leading up to the ceremony.
Georgie, insisting that it was’much worse,’ then added, ‘He was being breastfed by his mother.’
‘Sorry, WHAT?’ replied Beth. ‘Why would you marry a man who continues to breastfeed?’
Georgie defended the bride, saying, ‘I don’t think she knew that was what was happening!’
Beth couldn’t stop laughing and asked, ‘Why was his mother producing milk?’
‘She’s obviously done it all the time to get to that point,’ Georgie added.
Despite the bride’s obvious shock, the planner claims the wedding went ahead.
‘Everyone is in the room waiting,’ she said. But you would never kiss the groom…’
Georgie and Beth posted a video of themselves discussing the wedding horror story on their podcast’s TikTok account last week, which has received over 730,000 views.
‘Took «mummy’s boy» to a whole new level,’ one horrified follower responded.
‘The strongest man couldn’t lift my jaw right now!’ said another.
Meanwhile, a third person said, ‘Omg, I didn’t know what to expect, but that wasn’t even a passing thought!!’
‘The way I was like «nothing could be worse than him cheating…» wrote a fourth stunned viewer. That’s even worse. I’d be a fugitive.
