The famous American singer Britney Spears publicly insulted the figure of the performer Christina Aguilera.
On her Instagram, Britney hinted that her co-star behind the scenes has a far from perfect physique. The pop diva published a post with the caption: «I discovered that there is one way to look thin: hang out with fat people.»
Under the quote, the artist explained that if she performed on the same stage with singer Chrisina Aguilera, then against her background she would be slim.
“If I had the same dancers as Christina Aguilera, I would look incredibly small on stage,” Britney joked.
In the comments under the post, users were unpleasantly surprised. They noted that Britney herself has an imperfect figure.
After Spears received a flurry of criticism, she tried to justify her words. The star explained that she did not want to offend anyone.
