Carpenter saves his money to send 33 of his children to college while living a simple lifestyle
During her high school years, Kira Conard was fully aware of her family’s financial difficulties, and she accepted the situation wholeheartedly. Despite financial constraints, she was adamant about pursuing a college education.
Then one day, she received a phone call that would change her life in ways she could never have predicted.
When Kira Conard thought she wouldn’t be able to attend college due to financial constraints, she received a life-changing phone call from Steve Nielsen. Steve, a selfless person she would never meet, told her that it was possible for her to pursue her dreams and attend college.

He worked hard as a carpenter in Iowa. His death occurred in 2005, and there were no close relatives to mourn his passing.
There are 33 people who claim to be his children but have never met him.
Despite never having met him, they gathered one evening to remember him and reflect on his kindness. Kira is one of the 33 people who were able to attend college thanks to Dale, the man who lived a frugal lifestyle throughout his life.
Dale’s friend and attorney, Steve Nielsen, revealed how he spent his time while alive. He would devote his time to the church in addition to his job.

Dale’s unassuming life was revealed by Steve. He worked for the same company in Des Moines for 67 years and earned a living. Instead of spending his earnings on himself, he chose to save them for his incredible plan.
Dale informed Steve about his plan, which caught him off guard. Dale told him that he planned to spend his entire savings to help people attend college.
«He said, ‘I never got the chance to go to college, so I’d like to help kids go to college,'» Steve explained.
Dale’s plan was already impressive, but when he revealed how much he was willing to spend on the children’s tuition, Steve was astounded. Dale had amassed over $3 million in funds and was willing to donate them to help some children achieve their life goals.
Everything went as planned thanks to Steve’s assistance. His savings enabled him to successfully fund the education of 33 young Iowans who are now successful in their respective fields.
Dale’s savings had run out by 2019, but the people he helped would never forget how he changed their lives. All of them, like Kira, were able to achieve their current positions in life due to Dale’s generosity.
«It’s incredible that a man I’d never met would give me a full ride to college…. That never happens,» Kira explained.
Dale had only one requirement for the people he wanted to help, according to Steve.
«All he asked was that you pass it along. You can’t repay it because Dale is no longer alive. But you can remember him and try to be like him.»
Dale’s generosity will be remembered forever. He inspired many people, including his 33 «children,» and he is unquestionably an example of selflessness.
