According to numerous publications, the «Because You Loved Me» singer will perform at the 2024 Paris Olympics’ Opening Ceremony, her first live show since sharing her stiff-person syndrome diagnosis in 2022.
Celine has already arrived in Europe ahead of the summer games, which begin on July 26. On July 23, she was spotted outside the Royal Monceau Hotel in Paris, signing autographs and waving to fans.
While the specifics of her performance are being kept under wraps, the 56-year-old is expected to have a memorable night, especially given how much encouragement she has received from her admirers in recent years.
«For a long time—for so many years—I have felt the love and support of my fans around the world,» Céline told E! News in June. «They helped me to get where I am today.»
Despite the terrible health journey she has undergone since her diagnosis, the «My Heart Will Go On» singer has maintained an optimistic outlook.
