Days after releasing the name, Ryan Reynolds confirms the gender of his fourth child with Blake Lively
Within days of releasing the name of his fourth child, Ryan Reynolds has disclosed the infant’s gender!
In February of last year, Reynolds and Blake Lively, who already had three daughters—James, 7, Inez, 5, and Betty, 2—welcomed their fourth child. Lively announced the news at the time on social media alongside a number of images that revealed her growing baby bulge.
She said, «Puppy Bowl Sunday 2023, been busy,» as the caption for several photos she took of her family enjoying the Super Bowl. The romance between Reynolds and Lively started in 2010 when they got together on the Green Lantern production.
2012 saw their engagement and marriage. Reynolds has frequently discussed how putting his family first caused him to take a hiatus from the entertainment industry.
He said to LinkedIn News Senior Editor at Large Jessi Hempel, «The biggest thing for me, and I know you have kids as well, is that I don’t want to miss this time with my kids,» in reference to his sabbatical.
Reynolds disclosed the name of their fourth kid during the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere. He remarked on stage, «I want to start by saying thank you to my wife Blake, who is here.» «I want to thank my kids who are here, James, Inez, Betty, and Olin,» he said.
