Doctors were leaving a tiny newborn, the size of a palm
Modern medicine is capable of real miracles. Sometimes, doctors manage to go out and put babies born much prematurely on their feet. But the baby that was born in Japan became a real record and a modern medical miracle.
The boy was born at 24 weeks. The doctors were surprised that he survived, but did not give the crumbs any chance. And yet, it was decided to at least try to get it out. In size, the boy was no larger than a large onion. His height was only 22 cm, and he weighed 268 grams.
And yet, the boy managed to survive. The baby spent more than 5 months in the hospital. At first he was fed through a tube, later his mouth was moistened with a sterile swab soaked in his mother’s milk.
In the end, the baby managed to be transferred to normal breastfeeding, like the most ordinary newborn.
Now the boy is already at home and continues to grow and develop normally, in no way lagging behind his peers.
