Everything is ready to continue! Euphoria will again delight its fans with new plot twists
Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, and Hunter Schafer are all scheduled to return for the smash HBO series’ third season.
Euphoria is going back into development! HBO announced on Friday, July 12, that season 3 of the blockbuster series will begin filming in January 2025, with the core cast
(Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, and Hunter Schafer) anticipated to return.
«I am thrilled that we are ready to begin production on Euphoria in January,» said Francesca Orsi, Executive Vice President of HBO Programming and Head of HBO Drama Series and Films, in a statement.
«We could not be happier with our creative partnership with [creator] Sam [Levinson] and this incredible cast,» said the next statement.
«We look forward to bringing this new season of Euphoria to life for the fans.»
While Euphoria’s third season was renewed in February 2022, Deadline reported in March that filming had been delayed.
«HBO and Sam Levinson remain committed to making an exceptional third season,» the network stated at the time. «In the interim,
we are allowing our in-demand cast to pursue other opportunities.»Season 2 concluded with the devastating death of Ashtray (Javon Walton), the younger brother of Angus Cloud’s character Fezco.
