Father did the unbelievable to be there for his daughter during Christmas. So touchful!
The season of Christmas is special for families around the world since this is the holiday most spent with relatives, friends, and acquaintances.
This is the holiday that gathers families closer together and celebrates. Unfortunately, some employees have to report to work due to the busy season. A flight attendant with Delta Air Lines, Pierce Vaughan, was called in to work for the holiday season.
To surprise her, Hal Vaughan, Pierce’s father, decided to buy 6 flight tickets to keep her company at work during the busy holiday.

Christmas is one of the most celebrated holidays in the United States. It is an important festival where families and friends gather and celebrate the busiest holiday of the year.
Pierce Vaughan of Mississippi, USA, celebrates Christmas every year with her family, but when she became employed with an airline company, she was called in to report for work during the holiday season in 2019. Pierce was unable to celebrate Christmas with her family that year.

When her father, Hal, learned about her call, he decided to surprise his daughter by flying with her during her shifts. On December 23, 2019, Hal bought flight tickets to accompany his daughter from New Orleans to Detroit,
then to Fort Myers, Florida, and then back to Detroit. On Christmas Eve, they flew from Hartford to Atlanta and finally returned to New Orleans on the 26th.
During one of the flights, Hal talked to his seatmate on the plane, Mike Levy. Mike was moved by Hal’s loving Christmas surprise for his daughter. Afterward, Hal also resorted to Facebook and shared the story of his daughter.

“I had the pleasure of sitting next to Hal on my flight back home,” Levy said in a post that has been shared more than 27,000 times. “His daughter Pierce was our flight attendant who had to work over Christmas.
Her father, Hal, decided he would spend the holiday with her. So, he is flying on each of her flights today and tomorrow around the country to spend time with his daughter for Christmas. What a fantastic father! Wish you both a very Merry Christmas!”

Many netizens left heartwarming messages praising Hal for being a very supportive and loving father during the busiest time of the year. The touching gesture he did to be with his daughter during her flights was the most special Christmas celebration for father and daughter.
In June of the same year, Hal had an accident when he was about to trim the branches from a tree in their yard. He fell from the stairs and could not walk properly for two weeks.

December came, and his neck has not fully recovered. Even so, he still insisted on being with his daughter for the holiday season.
By the end of the holiday, Hal successfully flew all 6 flights with Pierce, although he admitted that the 3-day trip was a bit hard and tiring. When they returned home, he slept for 14 hours and was well-rested.
Fortunately, due to Delta Airline’s rules and regulations, family members of employees are entitled to discounts, so Hal flew in a First-Class cabin on one of his flights.

Pierce Vaughan thanked Delta Airlines for the family discount and thanked her colleagues for their help. Her father was lucky to have completed the flights. Soon after, she shared Mike Levy’s post on her social media.
“Look, ma! We made it, Kimberly Hal Vaughan,” she said. “Dad’s first trip using his benefits was a success! A special thanks to all of the patient and wonderful gate agents around the country and my perfect crew. He made it on every flight and even got first class RSW-DTW (Christmas miracle).”

Remembering what Hal’s seatmate did for her dad, Pierce said, “Shoutout to Mike Levy for being a great first-class passenger & helping us to understand how cool this actually is!”

For Pierce Vaughan, a flight stewardess for Delta Airlines, it was not only a miracle that her father accompanied her on all her holiday flights but also the most precious Christmas gift he has provided her for the year.
