The son of Michael Phelps becomes one year old today!
The 39-year-old competitive swimmer and his wife, Nicole Johnson, celebrated their son Nico’s first birthday on Sunday, January 19, by sharing a carousel of pictures on Instagram. One photo shows Nico posing next to his birthday cake, which also had a race car theme, while dressed as a race car driver.
Additionally, the one-year-old was spotted eating handfuls of the birthday treat and posing with a miniature cake. Later, Phelps’ three elder boys, Boomer, 8, Beckett, 6, and Maverick, 5, were spotted standing with their mother and baby sibling while sporting T-shirts that read.
«And just like that… we have a 1 year old Happy Birthday Nico,» the couple captioned the photo. «You adore being outside, cottage cheese, blueberries, and your brothers and pets. We are appreciative of your first life together.
Phelps posted a variety of images from the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris on Instagram in August, all of which showed his youngest son Nico exploring the city.
The father-son pair was spotted watching the games from the stands and lounging in a hotel room while grinning in front of the Eiffel Tower.
Michael captioned the carousel with, «Baby’s first rave 🪩,» showcasing Nico’s adorable red hat, big headphones, and small overalls during the journey.
