The Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup actress, 32, who contributed to her mother Dee Dee’s death in 2015 after years of excruciating medical mistreatment, is expecting her first child with partner Ken Urker, 31.
Tuesday, July 9th, saw Blanchard publish the wonderful news in a video titled «I’m Pregnant, My Journey So Far» on her YouTube account.
«I know the rumors have been flying around for quite some time now,» she says, «and I’m happy to announce that I am 11 weeks pregnant.»
«Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January of 2025,» she goes on to say. «This was not planned at all, it was completely unexpected, but we’re both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood.»
Later on in the video, Blanchard responds to some queries she’s received from her fans. «I know that there are going to be people who feel like I’m not ready to be a mother,» she continues, «and I don’t know if anyone’s really ready to be a mother.»
She then broke down in tears at the thought of finally being able to show her child love. She wipes her eyes and continues, «I want to give this baby everything that I wanted in a mother.»
