In the last week, my feed has been awash with A-listers sharing FOMO-inducing beach snaps, while debuting equally epic bikinis.
From Rita Ora’s whopping 22 new swimwear pics to Millie Bobby Brown’s retro-style set and mother-daughter duo Gwyneth Paltrow and Apple Martin ringing in the new year wearing matching string bikinis, 2023 is the year of the beach ‘gram. Now, Hailey Bieber’s gone and entered the chat with a bright green thong bikini.
Overnight, the 26-year-old took to Instagram to share a handful of new pics with her 49.9 million followers. The first image shows Hailey wearing a pair of high-waisted jeans, teamed with a mismatched bikini-style top and plenty of layered necklaces — a total vibe.
When you swipe through, though, you can see the model wearing a mint green thong bikini, fasted at the side by strings and a bow at the back. Hailey accessorises the look with a bucket hat, beaded bracelet and a big smile as she perches on the side of a jetty.
The exposed thong trend has already featured heavily in Hailey’s wardrobe over the last week. To celebrate New Year’s Eve, the Rhode Skin founder opted for a LBD (that’s little black dress, by the way), with strappy details across the back, including a distinctive ‘whale tail’:
Days earlier, Hailey also repped a totally see-through dress wearing, you guessed it, a thong underneath.
