Halle Bailey explains how she overcomes mother guilt associated with baby boy Halo
Halle Bailey exclusively told E! News that while she often feels guilty if she travels for work without 9-month-old son Halo—whom she shares with ex DDG—she reminds herself she’s doing it for him.

Halle Bailey wants to be where the action is.
But despite her love of traveling, the Little Mermaid star expanded on her feelings of «mom guilt» when she travels without her 9-month-old son Halo, whom she shares with ex DDG.
«I feel like I’m learning so much still when it comes to that,» Halle exclusively told E! News. «I love my baby so much. It’s hard to be away from him.»

So, how does she alleviate any feelings of guilt, especially if she’s going away for work? «I think you just have to chant to yourself that you’re doing this for your baby,» the 24-year-old explained, «and this is all going to be worth it and he’s so proud of you.»
She added, «Affirming yourself with positive affirmations I feel like has helped me.»

But luckily for Halle, she is often able to take Halo on work trips, which is easy to do because he is «just so chill.»»He’s calm,» she said, «and I’ve been traveling with him since he was really, really small so I think he’s used to lights and stuff now. He knows the role, he knows the system and program.»
