Chad is a popular travel blogger who has won over his audience with videos about life in the wild. He managed to travel around several continents before he decided on his most protracted experiment, island life.
To do this, the man chose a remote part of a small island in Puerto Rico. Thanks to satellite Internet, he kept an online diary, describing his existence day by day.
For the first month he had to live simply under an awning stretched over stakes.

But Chad knew that the rainy season would soon begin, and so he set about building a more secure home.
Fortunately, the soil on the island is clayey, the traveler had the necessary raw materials for construction. He selected a flat area, tamped it with improvised means and began work.
“In August 2017, I managed to make my first clay brick. Four months later, I already had 170 bricks, these walls were built from them,” the traveler said in his diary.

The man had to eat vegetables and eggs of local birds. Then the survivalist built himself a bow and arrows, then a fishing rod appeared and problems with food faded into the background.
In his latest video, Chad talked about the end of the project. He took everything he wanted from the island and now plans to come up with a new adventure.
