Shannen Doherty shared a special attachment with her dog Bowie.
The late actress even credited her canine companion with spotting her cancer before her diagnosis. The Beverly Hills, 90210 actor died on Saturday, July 13, aged 53, after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015.
She claimed she was in remission in 2017, however the disease reappeared in 2019. In November 2023, Doherty revealed to PEOPLE that the cancer had returned and spread to her bones.

Doherty recently wished Bowie, who has her own Instagram account, missbowiedoherty, a happy birthday in a social media tribute post from March. «Happy birthday, finest dog in the world. Her caption stated, «I love you to an obsessive point.»
In the photographs, Bowie posed outdoors while wearing a pink sweater with the word «Security» written on it.The first post on Bowie’s personal Instagram account was made in October 2016, and it is filled with adorable puppy photos.
