In a chat with Daily Star and other outlets, she explained: “I think it’s slightly different to taking pics at a pool party because I’m going to be living on rice and beans, no fake tan, no cosmetics and ultimately I will be in there to have a shower, so I don’t know.

“I mean I’ll try and make it look cute, but I need to think positive thoughts.”

The-reality TV star turned influencer often posts to her two million followers on Instagram in tiny bikinis and glamorous outfits.

She said that she felt “a bit of pressure” with being the first Islander to appear on the show but said that it was a “huge compliment”.

She shared: “It’s a huge compliment but it is a bit of pressure. I think there have been like 400 Love Island contestants now and I know they have met with people from Love Island over the years and it was always a big no – so to get the call this year, I mean, I couldn’t really believe it myself.”

The 31-year-old, who went on to appear on The Only Way is Essex, in addition to fronting various documentaries, thinks her various TV stints have got her to where she is now.

“Obviously the work I’ve done over the past five years and my documentaries and my own TV show, I think obviously that has set me apart in that way and it’s helped me to show a different side of myself. But yeah, they asked me to do it and I was overjoyed,” she explained.

The show returns to Australia this year after being in Wales for two years due to covid-19.
