In response to allegations that the referees are manipulating games for him and the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes
One victory would guarantee Kansas City and its star quarterback a spot in Super Bowl LIX.

As the Kansas City Chiefs get closer to a Super Bowl spot, Patrick Mahomes is denying rumors that he is receiving preferential treatment.
The quarterback stated that he is not shocked that non-Chiefs fans have a season-long feud with the referees, given that his club is only one victory away from the championship game and that they had a 15-2 regular season.

During his weekly guest appearance on local radio, Mahomes, 29, stated, «I don’t really pay attention to it because I’ve kind of learned that no matter what happens during the game, something’s going to come out about it if you win and you continue to win.»
At the end of the day, dude, those guys are doing their hardest to make the greatest decisions and keep it where the players are making the plays in the game. Of course, I’ve been on both sides of the debate regarding how I believed the calls were made. And that determines the result.

Additionally, he stated, «I think there were a lot of other plays that really decided the outcome of that football game, but obviously there were a few calls here and there that people didn’t agree with.»
Despite a comeback by the C.J. Stroud-led club, Mahomes and company prevailed 23–14 in Saturday’s divisional victory over the Houston Texans.
