The YouTube channel’s wood carver Vlad Carving has a devoted following thanks to his innovative and ground-breaking wooden sculptures. He creates incredible works of art with his chainsaw.
This time, he makes something hundreds of times larger out of a small wooden bear model. He transforms a massive block of wood into a life-size, realistic bear sculpture.
He starts with his model as a guide, drawing rough shapes into the large wooden log. He then grabs his chainsaw and starts hacking away at the first layer of wood.

This is one of the most thrilling aspects of the procedure. As he continues to cut, remove, and draw new lines, the shape and likeness of a bear emerges in the wood.
From there, he begins to refine his work, now putting away his axe and using the chainsaw in tighter quarters, shaping the wood, slicing in texture, and adding the finishing touches that distinguish his work.
Large and muscular legs emerge, and the face becomes more defined, with an open mouth and sharp, distinct teeth. He creates the appearance of fur with his chainsaw. It’s an incredible process and a stunning work of art.
