The 65th annual Grammy Awards were a night of historic triumphs and many outstanding performances.
The four most important prizes given out each year, including best new artist, album of the year, record of the year, and song of the year, were the center of attention.
Lizzo won record of the year for «About Damn Time,» while Bonnie Raitt won song of the year for «Just Like That.» Harry Styles received the coveted album of the year medal for «Harry’s House,» while Samara Joy won best new artist.
Beyoncé won four of the nine categories for which she was nominated, raising her overall number of Grammy victories to 32, making her the artist with the most Grammys ever during the ceremony.
The star-studded program was hosted by Trevor Noah from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Along with him were his A-list associates Fridayy, Jay-Z, John Legend, Lil Wayne, and Rick Ross.
The year’s best album goes to Harry Styles.
For «Harry’s House,» Harry Styles received the Grammy for album of the year.
«Every artist in this group with me has really inspired me. I’ve listened to everyone in this category when I’m by myself at a number of different points in my life, Styles remarked. And I believe that in occasions like this, it’s crucial for us to keep in mind that there is no such thing as the «greatest» in music.
He said, «This is really, really nice.» «I’m truly appreciative. Just rarely does something like this happen to someone like me.
Best new artist goes to Samara Joy
The 23-year-old singer won the coveted Grammy for best new artist.
She told the throng of fellow artists in attendance as she accepted the prize, «All of you have inspired me because of who you are. «You truly express who you really are. I’m grateful that I am here simply by being who I am and who I was born to be.
Anitta, Omar Apollo, DOMi & JD Beck, Muni Long, Latto, Mneskin, Tobe Nwigwe, Molly Tuttle, and Wet Leg were among the other artists nominated in the category.

One of the greatest prizes of the evening went to Lizzo for «About Damn Time»: record of the year. She gave Prince a special tribute award.
