Jenna Dewan made a knowing allusion to Nicole Kidman as word broke that her and Channing Tatum’s divorce was finalized after six years.
Jenna Dewan is stepping up and moving on after her divorce. On September 25, only days after finalizing her divorce from Channing Tatum, 44, following six years of talks, the 43-year-old broke her quiet with a subtle nod to another famous breakup.
Dewan, who was married to her Step Up co-star for eight years before their 2018 split, celebrated finally settling her divorce by uploading a famous photo of Nicole Kidman on her Instagram Story on September 26.
In the 2001 photograph, which is now a popularly used meme, Kidman seemed relieved as she exited her attorney’s office after signing her divorce papers from.
In addition to the knowing reference, she shared an Instagram slideshow on September 25 with selfies, family photos and videos, nature, and video chats, with the caption, «Thank you universe,» and the praying hands emoji.
The carousel post featured photographs of her fiancé, Steve Kazee, their two children, Callum, four, and Rhiannon, three months, as well as a few rare shots of her and Tatum’s daughter Everly, eleven.
In reference to her comment, Dewan’s tweet included a screenshot of a statement reading, «My happiness is a direct reflection of my faith in the universe.»
As part of the finalized divorce arrangement, the former couple waived spousal support and agreed to fight out any future problems over custody privately.
