How? As Owens, who recently signed with the Chicago Bears, revealed, he and his representatives contacted the team some months prior, even before 27-year-old Biles had formally qualified for her third Olympic squad.
Following training camp practice on July 25, Owens, 29, told reporters, «Obviously the Olympics were coming up and you know who my wife is.» This was reported by Yahoo Sports.

Owens, who gained notoriety in late 2023 for remarks he made on the early stages of his relationship with Biles, said that it will be unsettling to see the four-time Olympic gold medalist compete.
