On his Instagram Stories, Timberlake posted, «I’m so sorry, Oklahoma City…I have to cancel the show on 12/2,» on November 30. «I hurt my back in NOLA and my doctors have instructed me to rest a little bit longer.»

On a week-long break from his tour, the «Cry Me a River» singer said, «Thank you for your support—ya’ll know I hate doing this.» He last performed in New Orleans on November 25.

Timberlake began his tour in April and has so far canceled one other concert—that was originally scheduled to take place in Columbia, S.C. in June—and postponed several dates.

Due to what he called «an injury that is preventing me from performing,» one of them—a gig in Newark, New Jersey—was postponed by one week in October. A couple more from the autumn were then rescheduled for February after Timberlake developed laryngitis and bronchitis.

However, Timberlake’s well reported arrest in June of this year did not seem to have an impact on his tour. The singer returned to the stage in Chicago a few days after being arrested on charges of driving under the influence on Long Island, New York, during a week-long sabbatical from performing.
