On Monday, November 25, the 38-year-old, who is most known for playing Penny on The Big Bang Theory, opened up on Instagram about her dog Shirley, who passed away from cancer not long ago.

Cuoco stated in the Instagram Reel, «As most of you are aware, I had [Shirley] for a very long time.»

«You kind of stopped seeing her all of a sudden, and I started getting a lot of questions about where she was because I’ve had a dog since she was six weeks old, and it’s very unlike me to just stop posting about her.»

«Long story short, she’s a very special dog to me, as you all know,» she said, continuing to compliment the puppy.

According to the Flight Attendant actress, Shirley couldn’t get along with her fiancé Tom Pelphrey’s dog.

She continued, «And when the love of my life, Tom, who is also a huge dog lover, moved across the country with his gorgeous German Shepherd, Blue, a couple years ago, unfortunately, Blue and Shirley started getting into some mega fights.»
