Kate Beckinsale hasn’t asked for input on her swimming style.
Beckinsale, 50, took to Instagram on Wednesday, July 17, to showcase a statement biкini in response to criticism about her weight reduction. The black Mua Mua one-piece had a scoop neck, thick straps,
and glittering silver embroidery that said, «I did not ask your opinion.»Beckinsale styled the look with gold layered necklaces, dangly earrings, a big straw hat, black sunglasses with rhinestone accents, and platform heels.
Beckinsale’s statement biкini comes only days after she hit back at an internet troll who insulted her body. «Go do some squats! I guess your ass ran away,» the troll commented, to which the actress answered, «I watched my stepfather die very abruptly, my mother has stage 4 cancer,
and I lost a lot of weight quite quickly due to stress and grief.» (Beckinsale’s stepfather, director Roy Battersby, di ed at the age of 87 in January after a brief illness.)
She went on to say that she spent «six weeks» in the hospital because her sadness «burned a hole in [her] esophagus,» leading her to «vomit copious amounts of blood.»
«I’m not really concerned what you think of my ass,» she wrote, cutting off the troll.
The following day, she posted a mirror selfie to further blast online critics. «Let’s raise a toast to the douche bags.
