Kate Hudson is thinking back on being chosen to host an edition of Saturday Night Live 25 years ago as the show marks its 50th anniversary.
At the Los Angeles premiere of her new Netflix series Running Point, the 45-year-old singer and actress, who is Almost Famous, told PEOPLE exclusively why she «felt very lucky» to host Saturday Night Live in October 2000 at the age of 21.

According to Hudson, «It was a lot of fun, really, and I got to do it with Radiohead, so I felt very lucky.» «Radiohead was everything to me as a little girl growing up, so that was really fun.»
