The upside-down look appears to be alive and well this year in celebrity biкini trends — just ask Kylie Jenner. But it appears that floss biкinis have been added to the list.
For the uninformed, the ‘floss’ style has been around for a while, and the name is quite self-explanatory, alluding to string sets with straps so little you could floss your teeth with them. So, who is the most recent A-lister to champion the look? Kendall Jenner is a model.
Kendall went to Instagram overnight to share a slew of FOMO-inducing Christmas photos, which was *exactly* what I needed to see in the middle of February.
I am not jealous of this trip AT ALL, from evening frolics on the beach to lazily soaking up some rays. But let’s get back to the biкini.
While Kendall is wearing swimwear in the first photo in her post, this lime green ensemble is not the one we’re talking about. As you go through the photos, you’ll notice Kendall wearing a second, black biкini.
In contrast to the green coord, which looks to feature ordinary cut briefs, the black set has very little coverage, especially in the back. The thong brief is then joined by two more horizontal straps that wrap across the hips.
Yes, it’s giving me huge floss vibes, and I can’t even image the tan lines this look would give you.
