Kesha brushes her teeth with a bottle of Jack Daniel’s to celebrate 15 years of her number one hit TiK Tok
The pop artist used a Spotify plaque celebrating 1 billion streams of the 2009 track to hold the whiskey as she brushed her teeth in a TikTok video.

On August 7, the 37-year-old pop artist marked the 15th anniversary of her chart-topping first single «TiK ToK» by posting a TikTok video of herself cleaning her teeth with Jack Daniel’s whiskey, a reference to the song’s lyrics.
At the beginning of the video, Kesha enters the restroom with a Spotify plaque commemorating 1 billion streams of her 2013 chart-topper «Timber» before exclaiming,
«S—. Wrong one,» and grabbing her nearly identical plaque commemorating 1 billion streams of «TiK ToK.»
She then pours Jack Daniel’s into the silver Spotify logo saucer on the plaque, dips her toothbrush in the whiskey, and brushes her teeth, alluding to the song’s famous first verse line:
«Before I leave, brush my teeth with a bottle of Jack / ‘Cause when I leave for the night, I ain’t comin’ back.»
The video was released after Kesha wrote a poignant message about the production and success of «TiK ToK,»
which spent nine weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and sold over eight million sales in the United States since its 2009 release as the lead single off her debut album, Animal (2010).
