Kim Kardashian has amassed a knickers business, which began with her love of shapewear. In 2019, she started SKIMS as a sculptwear company with body-shaping designs and soft fabrics.
However, as her business has expanded to include bras, knickers and other things, Kim has become her best salesperson by wearing the seductive items and displaying the photographs on Instagram.
Kim is the first to model any new SKIMS product when it is released. She’s worn several bra and panty combos in matching sets, and she always enjoys taking a picture in front of the mirror to show how beautiful they look… on her.
Kim isn’t hesitant to show off her bold goods, such as a microthong. She wore the little outfit for a February 2022 selfie that revealed a lot of skin. The garment was paired with a tiny triangle bra and included a small piece of fabric concealing her crotch area,
as well as two thin strings running across her hips. Though she didn’t turn to display the backside, it was a G-string rather than a thong because it was only one string with no extra fabric over the derriere.
The entrepreneur has made light of the item’s impracticality as actual pants. When Kim unveiled the microthong in 2021, she said, «[It’s] basically a clit cover, that’s all it really covers.»
In a 2019 interview with retailer Nordstrom, Kim described why she founded SKIMS. «I’ve always enjoyed wearing shapewear but became frustrated when I couldn’t find anything that worked well for me.»
«It was either too thick, too loose, too tight, didn’t have enough support, or didn’t mould to my body the way I wanted it to,» she explained.
«I started experimenting on my own by making pieces out of other garments, and I would cut a leg or dye fabric to get the right shade.» «SKIMS has been in the works for over a decade,» she admitted.
