British comedian Lorna Pritchard met her fate on a dating app. The woman began using the service at the beginning of self-isolation, and by the end of May, Lorna planned to give up. But then he appeared in her life — a Brazilian named Leo.
“He wrote to me that I have a bewitching look. He seemed remarkably honest to me. After three weeks of virtual communication, we met. I immediately knew that he was the one,” she admits.
The first date was very romantic. The couple had a picnic outside the city, and at some point Leo decided to ask the same question. The man did it as if by chance, and Lorna’s answer was not long in coming.
“The next day he gave me a ring. It sat perfectly. We broke the news to my family and friends via FaceTime. They were shocked, but they were happy for us,” recalls the bride.
According to Leo, during the marriage proposal, he was nervous, but the man felt that he was doing the right thing. Of course, the groom was confident in himself, but those close to Pritchard were skeptical about her decision.
Friends were shocked by the woman’s act, and one of the friends even asked about Lorna’s mental health. “A friend asked if I had a mental breakdown. Another asked if I was the victim of a scam, which made me laugh.

Leo moved to his beloved and future wife after 5 days. Now they are enjoying life together and planning a celebration. Lorna is grateful for the pandemic for the chance to find her love: according to her, if it were not for what is happening in the world, she would not have found time for a relationship from scratch.
