Matthew McConaughey left fans worried after appearing with a huge black eye
In an Instagram photo, Matthew McConaughey revealed that his right eye was totally swollen shut. He seemed to attribute the injury to a bee encounter.
Following what appears to be a run-in with a bee, Matthew McConaughey appears to be feeling it. McConaughey, 54, posted a close-up picture of himself on Instagram on Wednesday, July 10,
which revealed his right eye had fully swollen shut. The actor alluded to a regrettable encounter with a bee with the clever remark «bee swell,»
however he did not elaborate on what had happened to him specifically. In spite of the concerning injury to his eye, McConaughey seemed fine in the picture, grinning at the camera.
Aside from his apparent encounter with a bee, McConaughey has been rather busy lately. On Sunday, July 7,
he and his wife Camila Alves McConaughey wished their oldest son Levi a happy birthday by showcasing a montage of pictures of the 16-year-old with his parents along with a voicemail. «All right, Levi,
get over that age, my friend. «You’re about to go it alone,» the Interstellar actor warned in a voiceover. «I hope that your mother and I did as excellent a job as we could. We won’t actually be there to protect you in the amazing, wild world indefinitely.»
