Mercy is the best remedy! Angie told how not going crazy with six children
Angelina Jolie is this week’s People cover star, and the Eternals actress spoke about her life with her six children—Maddox, 20; Pax, 17; Zahara, 16; Shiloh, 15; and twins Vivienne and Knox, 13—during her interview.

Jolie praised them and their influence on her and each other. «They’re pretty great people, and I think they’ve had a very significant effect on each other because there are so many of them,» she said.
«I’m not like I’m in charge of anything. I’m open and honest with my children. And I’m very human when it comes to my children.»
She also stated that she has allowed herself to evolve alongside them as they grew from children to teenagers and young adults.

«I have six very unique human beings in my home,» she explained. «I am so excited about all of the different stages, feelings, and curiosities that they go through. Why would you not be?
We’re supposed to assist them in discovering who they are. And you won’t know who they are unless you actively develop with them.»

«By no means am I a perfect parent,» she added. «Every day, I feel more aware of everything I don’t do correctly. And I’m pretty hard on myself because I frequently wonder,
‘Am I doing the right thing? «Did I say the correct thing?» Their kindness to Jolie, she said, «has been very healing to me.»
In most interviews, Jolie does not shy away from discussing her children’s influence on her. During the election in November 2020, Jolie spoke to Edward Enninful for British Vogue about her experience quarantining with them.

«I feel like I lack all the skills to be a traditional stay-at-home mom,» she explained. «I’m getting by because the kids are quite resilient and are helping me, but I’m not very good at it.»
«I adore them,» she went on. «I feel like we’re such a good group. It may sound corny, but you love and you try, and it doesn’t matter if you burn the eggs in the end. You’ve also met our children. They’re quite capable.»
