Seeing Lindsay Lohan as a mother is something Jamie Lee Curtis adores!
The 65-year-old actress talked exclusively to PEOPLE about seeing her Freaky Friday co-star in «mom mode» while they filmed the eagerly awaited sequel, Freakier Friday, at the bi-annual Children’s Hospital Los Angeles 2024 Gala on Saturday, October 5.
Curtis remarks, «The whole thing was fun, just from all areas of it,» in reference to his reunion with Lohan, 38, who gave birth to her first child, Luai, in 2023 alongside her husband Bader Shammas.
The Oscar winner goes on to say that Lohan is «always» in «mom mode,» adding, «She just loves it.» In fact, it’s quite difficult to get her to stop being a mother.
Lohan would not bring her son on set, according to Curtis, a mother of two herself, even though he and her husband would «pick her up from work almost every day.»
«Bader and Luai came and [would wait] for her in her trailer, and then they all go home together,» she says.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE back in August, Curtis and Lohan discussed who they would switch places with if they could perform a body swap similar to the one in their film at Disney’s D23 fan event showcase in Anaheim, California.
«Anybody? «Perhaps my baby,» Lohan replied. «To simply see life through his eyes, every day, because he is so happy and pure.»
