Pasadena Humane is looking for donations to help care for the more injured pets that will be arriving in the next few days.

Pasadena Humane is taking action to support its four-legged neighbors who are impacted by the several wildfires raging throughout Los Angeles County.
The shelter reported in a press statement on January 8 that it has taken in more than 300 animals that were displaced by the fires.

«A growing number of animals are arriving with wounds and burns. Our intensive care unit is treating these animals. As needed, we are giving them oxygen, fluids, wound care, and painkillers,» Pasadena Humane said in the statement.
Pasadena Humane posted pictures of the incoming animals in need of treatment on Facebook, one of which was a white dog discovered outside close to one.

«He is severely dehydrated and covered in burns. He is covered in ash and his paw pads are singed. In a statement on January 8, the animal shelter described the dog as «incredibly sweet, despite being understandably shaken from his experience.»
Photos of a bird with burns on its tail and a cat that arrived «covered in burns» were also included in the same post. Early on January 8,

Pasadena Humane featured an orange cat on Facebook that «came to us in bad shape.»
«A kind neighbor discovered him outside and came running to us for assistance. He has burns all over his body and face. The shelter posted on social media that «our veterinary team has wasted no time treating him.»
